MG Real Estate – WELL Occupant Survey
Employee insights as part of WELL certification
Ahead of MG Real Estate’s WELL certification, Aumla was engaged as Approved Survey Provider for WELL Feature C04 – Occupant Survey. The aim was to capture employees’ experience of the Workplace Environment and Overall Wellbeing, while creating useful input for continued work on the work environment and wellbeing.
The challenge
Ahead of WELL certification, MG Real Estate needed to run a structured, quality-assured Occupant Survey as part of WELL Feature C04.
The survey had to capture employees’ experience of the work environment and their overall wellbeing – and provide input that could be used after the certification as well.
What Aumla did
Aumla was responsible for the whole survey process – from distribution and anonymous data collection to analysis and reporting.
The survey focused on two main areas:
Workplace Environment – employees’ experience of the physical work environment, such as ergonomics, sound, light, air quality and thermal comfort.
Overall Wellbeing – employees’ experience of their overall wellbeing, including physical, mental and social aspects.
Approach
- Distribution and anonymous data collection
- Analysis of Workplace Environment
- Analysis of Overall Wellbeing
- Reporting and recommendations
The result
The results gave MG Real Estate a clearer picture of what worked well and where there was room for development. Aumla identified areas related to ergonomics, the sound environment, flexibility, recovery and wellbeing initiatives, and made recommendations for the next steps.
MG Real Estate received input for WELL Feature C04 – Occupant Survey, a structured picture of employees’ experience of the work environment and wellbeing, and identified development areas with concrete recommendations.
The WELL survey thereby became both part of the certification process and a tool for continued development of the work environment.
Key lesson
A WELL survey isn’t just part of the certification process – the results can also become a tool for continued development of the work environment and wellbeing.
